Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of WorkMerit and your purchase of digital skills assessments.

The service

WorkMerit is an independent skills-assessment platform. The price pays for access to an assessment and its available score report. WorkMerit is not a recruitment agency and does not sell job applications, interviews, referrals or employment.

No employment guarantee

A result may help you understand or demonstrate your skills. Purchasing an assessment, making a result visible, or receiving a company contact request does not guarantee that any company will view your profile, interview you or employ you.

Eligibility and integrity

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • Provide accurate account information and complete the assessment yourself.
  • Do not copy, publish, sell or circumvent assessment content.
  • We may invalidate a result where reliable evidence shows cheating or misuse.

Results and credentials

Scores are indicators based on your answers, the assessment version and test conditions. Any WorkMerit certificate confirms completion or an announced achievement threshold only. It is not an academic degree, government approval, professional licence or official identity verification.

Company use

Companies are independently responsible for contact, interviews, offers, employment decisions, equal treatment and compliance with applicable employment law. WorkMerit provides assessment technology and does not make final hiring decisions.

Liability

To the extent allowed by law, WorkMerit is not responsible for indirect losses, expected opportunities or independent company decisions. Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory consumer rights or liability that the law does not permit us to exclude.
